the web grants instant, widespread and  free access to nearly all information on  politics, science, society, economics, etc.  most web content can easily be copied  and spread by people who can afford  and handle all the necessary tools.  others get less chances to develop.  these people can only use broadcasted  or printed material, which is much  harder to copy and spread, and more  strictly protected by copyright law. boo.  we want people to have the easiest  access to information possible, and to  change copyright from protecting the  rich towards enabling the poor.          =
